My manager from Prestige has really helped me with the difficult tenants. I will rank her 1 of the best, in turn of communication, tenant issues discussion, achieving results.

I’ve been with Prestige Property Management for almost three years now. They’ve always been responsive and professional with my needs. Recently been dealing with a process that requires careful attention. The property manager, Maggie, has been super professional and polite. Marissa, the owner, is aware of all the details herself and helped to consult on the issue. I couldn’t be happier with Marissa and her whole team.

Prestige Property Management has taken over the management of my rental in Santa Rosa. They have found a well qualified tenant and all the responsibilities of keeping me and the new tenant happy. Prestige is easy to work with and very responsive to my questions. It is all good so far, thank you Prestige. As an update to I would give Marissa of Prestige Property Management and her Team Ten Stars. A branch from a tree on my property fell on a neighbors vehicle last month during a wind storm. I asked Marissa if she would act as my representative as we worked through the insurance process and interactions with the vehicle owner. What did not have to become a stressful situation was professional managed by Marissa. I could not praise Prestige more. The issue should be resolved soon.

I have worked with Prestige both as a rental management company for two houses and as a realtor. I have been extremely impressed and pleased with them in both capacities.

This company took over my apartment complex and while I was hopeful at first, I am not hopeful anymore. I have two small kids and they decided to move our parking spot across the entire complex where I have to cross two parking lots rather then right in front of my home, where our spot has been for the last THREE years. When I called, I spoke to the owner, Marissa, and she wouldn't help me. She said I'd get a call from a property manager hopefully before the end of the day. 0/10 don't live at these properties. Update to add: never got a call and both of my neighbors (that don't have small children) got to keep their spots on this side of the complex. One of them even took my spot, leaving the middle spot open with no occupant.

This management company came here a few months ago and today they randomly changed my parking spot after I've been parking in the same assigned spot for over 3 years. When I randomly received a placard on my door with the wrong spot number, I called to ask what the reason was, all I was told was "they repainted the parking spots". They didn't even change the spot numbers so I'm not sure why that's relevant. My spot used to be right outside of my apartment (along with many of my neighbors who also USED TO have spots right in front of their apartments) and now it's on the complete opposite side of the complex in a spot that is covered in oil stains. This management company doesn't treat good tenants well. Sure they will weed out the bad ones, but they are also driving out good tenants.

Prestige Real Estate and Property Management was an improvement over their “Impure” competitor, but not by much. As an owner, I had high hopes for Prestige in managing two residential properties but was very disappointed because of the following issues: Property 1 Accounting: The great news is that Prestige uses Buildium management software. Unfortunately, garbage in results in garbage out. First, Prestige charged the tenant the old rent amount despite clear documentation in the transfer paperwork of the current rent. Second, I needed to point out discrepancies in Prestige’s accounting that resulted in an additional $325 owner distribution. Initially, I made an owner contribution for the Tenant’s security deposit upon the transfer of the property to Prestige, which was subsequently returned as an Owner Distribution the following month. I coordinated with Marissa to transfer the tenant security deposit again on the date she specifically specified, but Prestige returned the security deposit contribution once again. Property 2 Lack of Controls: One of Prestige’s vendors performed over $1,000 in unauthorized plumbing work without approval. It took weeks to obtain a breakdown of the unauthorized work versus the emergency repair. At this point I decided to change property managers, and in that transition discovered that a pit bull mix (prohibited by my homeowner’s insurance) had been allowed on the property when Prestige approved the tenants. While I was willing to consider small dogs, the lease did not indicate any pet on the property nor was a pet addendum part of the lease. Prestige contends it was an “oversight”, but my perspective is the entire incident was more akin to willful misconduct. Just prior to transfer to the new property manager, Prestige attempted to cover themselves by issuing a completely inadequate Pet Addendum (pet was described as “1 dog” with no reference to name, size, breed, age, or gender). Property 2 Form 1099-MISC Error: I recently received my 1099-MISC from Prestige and they had categorized the tenant’s security deposit as “other income” even though I clearly informed them that I was funding the tenant’s security deposit with the new property manager, the tenants did NOT move, and I am contractually obliged to return the security deposit at the end of the lease. Even after I provided references and links to IRS Publication 527 which clearly states how security deposits should be recorded, Prestige refuses to issue a corrected 1099-MISC or even to respond to my emails. Finally, I make it clear that my expectation is to receive a 2-business day response to any query, even if the response is, “I will get back to the middle of next week”. Prestige was unable to consistently meet even this basic service level. If you're an owner, be prepared to keep a close watch on Prestige... which negates much of the reason for hiring a property manager in the first place.

Always excellent.Very responsive and helpful. Very professional and competent. They have been extremely valuable to me, especially in view of the fact that I have lived outside the country for 10 years. I have worked with other property managers, and Prestige is far superior to the others. I recommend them without any hesitation.


We are a new client of Prestige's. They handled an eviction very well and we are in process of updating the unit they manage. Looking forward to a long relationship.
